They were, left to right, Kyler Brinkerhofi Wayne Ott, Shanon Pollock, and Danny Slack. Four Honored With Eagle Badge TROPIC Four Bryce Valley High School seniors were recenly honored at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Sunday, Apr. 19. For his Eagle project, Kyler Brinkerhoff, 17, built bear boxes, fire rings and cleared ground for tent spaces at Barker Reservoir. He is a son of Ferrell and Gwen Brinkerhoff and the grandson of Ora Brinkerhoff, Brinker-hoff, all of Tropic, and also the grandson of Zona Jackson, St. George. Eighteen-year-old Wayne Ott also participated in the projects at Barker Reservoir with Brinkerhoff. He is a son of Sherrell and Kame Ott and the grandson of Wallace and Mary Ott, all of Tropic, and also a grandson of Doyle and Thelma Cot-I Cot-I i tarn, Escalante. Shanon Pollock, 18, laid a cement ce-ment foundation with redwood benches at the Tropic Cemetery. He is a son of Vance and Jeannene Pollock and a grandson of Afton and Del Rae Pollock and Clare and Mary Lee Ramsay, all of Tropic. Danny Slack, 17, son of Earl and Jacque Slack, built a nature trail from Pine Lake to the campground at the lake. He is a grandson of Jerry and Fonda Thompson, who are serving an LDS mission in the Peoria, 111. mission and Elwin and the late Anna Slack, LaVerkin. All four agreed that their favorite favor-ite merit badges were Camping, Hiking and Fishing. |
