Show By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 The tulips and crocuses are in bloom but we did have some frost this week, so hope the fruit is still okay. Visitors at the Jeff Johnsons were his sistr Valerie and her husband, hus-band, Steve King and their son, Andrew Beddoes of Spanish Fork. Cylp Johnson came home for the weekend from school in Provo. Jeff and Cailee are in St. Cloud, Fla., to visit son Carson who is still employed at the LDS church farm. Cailee is celebrating her 13th birthday and it will be her first plane trip. Jed Johnson came home from school in Provo for the Easter weekend. Also, at the Gary Johnson's John-son's home were daughter Sarah and her friend Brady Bradshaw of Beaver. Bea-ver. Gary brought his mother home from St. George from the rehab re-hab center. We are happy she is able to be home. Lula Moore is still with Darreld and Mary Lou Neilsen while she recuperates. re-cuperates. She had a follow-up appointment ap-pointment in Cedar City and received re-ceived an all okay from her doctor. She and Doyle Nielson also visited Zettie Kinter who had surgery at the Valley View Medical Center and reports re-ports she came through her surgery okay. Our prayers are with her and her family. Most of the children were there from California. John and Anne Barnett took their grandchildren home to Las Vegas after a couple of weeks visit. They will attend the wedding of granddaughter Becky Barnett and also visit with John's son from Washington. Les and Shirley Barker were in Provo to attend a convention and while there attended the LDS temples tem-ples in that area. Carol Burrows has been in the hospital in St. George but is home now and doing well. She is Shirley's Shir-ley's sister, and we wish her well. Visiting at the Eugene and La Kay Quilter home were Sharon Drake of Pleasant Grove and her four children and Camille Anderson and her son from Kaysville. They are the daughters of Mary Carol Izatt. Mitch Henderson was in St. George with Chalyce Eddy and Crystal Chynoweth to do some shopping. We are all happy to have Cherish Cher-ish Shakespear home after her accident. acci-dent. She is able to get around on one crutch. We wish her a complete com-plete recovery. We send our love and sympathy to the family members of Royal Alvey who passed away. Several Henrieville residents attended services serv-ices on Wednesday in Tropic. It was good to see again many of his children who attended school in Bryce Valley. LDS Stake Conference was held in Escalante on Sunday. A combined com-bined choir sang several beautiful numbers and some very good talks were given. A large number of Henrieville residents went. Following Follow-ing the session, Ernie and Wynona Henderson had dinner with Cal and Martha Schow. On Wednesday evening, several members of the Lions Club met at the Ernie Henderson home and filled plastic Easter eggs in preparation for the annual hunt on Friday. A large number of children attended. We hope all of the children had fun at the Cannonville Park. The Lions Li-ons Club has their Lions mints at several of the local merchants. This is one of the projects they have to help pay for such activities and they would appreciate your support. |
