'' On some town news, I hear tliat Bill and Shirley Sellers have purchased the Darlene Purbin house. r Scot and Tracy Peterson and family have been here visiting With her parents, the Phil Aliens. Ruby's Inn will be doing some remodeling in the kitchen and dining area, but will be serving food from the Canyon Country Dinner close by. They will be serving everything including dinners, just like they have always done. The bitter cold wind and weather is making it very hard for the men working on the fiber optic line here. Tim Tennis reports that he had a very good holiday. He went on a wild boar hunt in Mexico, got his boar but didn't bring it home as a pet. He traveled trav-eled to the earthquake area in Paso Robles to repair a house he has there, windows, doors, etc. Jerry and Janene Savage and family had Christmas dinner with the Keith Savages in Cedar City. Eugene and Valeria King had all of the Tom King family over for Christmas eve. The Justin Kings, Marnee King and husband, hus-band, Tiffany and family and Jennie King and husband and baby were there. The Antimony Merc is also doing some remodeling in the kitchen, etc. using stainless steel on wall and counters and new clipboards. I just received a call that we are great-grandparents again. Gavin and Tiana Henrie Phillips have a new baby boy. He will be named Shay Ryan Phillips. We are going to get three more great-grandchildren this coming year. Ted and Karma Jolley had all three boys here for the holidays. Scott and family from the east, the Eric Jolleys from Eagle Mountain, the Darrin Jolleys from Las Vegas, Nev. and Karma's mother, from Cedar City. The Mike Porters were called to come as his mother is quite ill and not expected to live. She lives in southern Utah in LaVerkin with her daughter. |
