Show a&mmviuG anus By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 A belated Happy New Year to all our readers. Due to a bad case of flu, I had no column last week and it will be short this week. A special thanks to all who have helped Ernie and I during this time. Special speakers in Henrieville LDS Ward last weekend were Theron and Marilyn Rose of West Valley City, soon to be over the Missionary Training Center in Argentina. Following that they plan to move to Henrieville, back to Theron 's roots. We welcome wel-come them. Doyle Jackson received word of the death of this brother, Don Jackson in Sacramento, Calif. He attended services there on Saturday. Our condolences to the family. Ken and Artoise Piatt took their family on a winter vacation to sunny St. George for several days and also visited Joe and Krista Neighbors. Kerry and Genefer Rose and children Chris and Melissa Rose of Sandy were here for a visit with the Delpha Rose and other local family. Also visiting at their cabin here were Colin and ' Laurie Rose and family of Annabella and Dave and Jeanne Payne and their children Brian, Sarah, Derrick, LeAnn and Alan of Cedar City. Mona Rae Twitchell and son, Leon Twitchell were holiday visitors at the Callahans, Copfers, Mclnellys and Barkers. Alex Patterson spent several days visiting her grandmother, Linda Patterson. Travis and Tammy Shakespear and their family spent a few days prior to Christmas visiting Jay and Barbara Bowman in Delta, Colo., Lacy Hunt in Beaver, and attending the Academy dance studio there. Visitors at Russ and Lyllian LeFevre's were their kids Tyler and Lisa Lyman; Greg and Paula Shakespear, Escalante; Dennis and Brenda Shakespear of Kanab and Lynn and Mala Shakespear of St. George. Dennis and Brenda were also here for the wedding of Shannon and Brielle Pollock. Helen Willis received word that her grandson, Rodney and Michelle Head of Boise, Ida., had their recently adopted baby, Shawn, sealed to them in the LDS temple there. We spent a quiet Christmas at home this year with this bug that has hit so many. Ernie is down with pneumonia. |
