First Graders To Learn Of Bike Safety From UHP Troopers TROPICESCALANTE -Utah Highway Patrol Troopers and local volunteers will be promoting pro-moting bicylcle safety to all first graders at Bryce Valley Elementary in Tropic at 1 1 a.m. and at Escalante Elementary in Escalante at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 The youngsters will view a special bicycle safety video and each one will receive a free helmet. hel-met. The helmets are paid for by a grant through Utah Highway Safety. The grant is for Kane and Garfield Counties Safe Communities Projects.
