' , . i The Utah Museum cf Natural History's Museum on the Move program has hit Boulder, Escalante, Bryce Valley and Panguitch Elementary Schools in the last week, bringing bones, rocks, fossils and all kinds of fun hands-on experiments to inspire students stu-dents to explore the animals, plants insect and ecosystems specific to Utah. Lori Millward, instructor, promotes cooperative learning by setting sett-ing up "discovery stations," such as this one in Vicki Syrett's 4th grade class at Bryce Valley, where kids can interactively see and touch elements ele-ments of the category they are studying. |
