Show A Note Of Thanks Isn't it great to live in a land that allows us free speech and agency to believe what we choose, to worship how, where and what we may? I have lived forty-three years in this beautiful valley, county, state, nation, and earth and each new day brings something to be thankful for. September 1 1 and the War in Iraq have brought these blessings even more clearly clear-ly to my vision. To have gratitude grati-tude for the simple things we enjoy each day ! A warm home, family, friends, good neighbors, clean air, plenty of water, food, fuel, clothing, etc. Feeling safe to walk down our streets and be greeted by others with a smile and a hi. Knowing that if we get sick or have a problem, our family, fam-ily, friends and neighbors will . be there. I I want to send a note of ) thanks to all who contribute to our communities and help them to function so smoothly. Schools, teachers, church and community leaders, nurses, doctors, doc-tors, chiropractors, farmers, construction workers, contractors, contrac-tors, waitresses, maids, clerks, bag boys, laundry workers, desk jobs of every kind, nursery leaders, lead-ers, creators of music, carpenters, carpen-ters, lumbermen and sawmill workers, communications workers, work-ers, electric companies and all who work there, restaurant workers, store managers and employees, campgrounds, well drillers, used car lots, secretaries, secre-taries, the legal system, fathers, mothers, children, animals, the things that give us joy and make our lives comfortable. Thank you God for each of these, and thank you for your love. May The Peace of God Be With You All, Ramona Morreale |
