Show nuvjs By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 We have continued to get some very nice rains this week for which we are grateful. Folks are still trying to bottle or dry their fruits and garden supplies. The boy scouts and their leaders lead-ers went out and filled a couple of cords of wood for the town. On Tuesday evening, the combined Young Men and Young Women met at the old Smith Ranch with their leaders for a delicious Dutch oven dinner. din-ner. President Klin Chynoweth and Brett Chynoweth did the cooking and a bit of rain didn't dampen spirits at all. . John and Annie Barnett have moved to Ruby's Inn until the season ends and then will take their fifth wheel on the road. They plan to go to Las Vegas, Nev. for doctors appointments first. Wade Moore, son of Frankie and Gayle Moore has been, in Washington, D.C. to attend a camp for burn victims for this past week. He was sponsored by the burn center and firemen. His folks pick him up in Salt Lake City on Friday night. Don and Robin Randall and their granddaughter were visitors visi-tors at the home of Lula Moore. They are family of the late Maxine Chynoweth, a former member of our town. Rae Smith had members of her family here helping her get her place ready for winter. . She really appreciates their help. Chad and Jamie Reeder and family are moving to Alton to be closer to his work. We certainly are going to miss them in our community but wish them well in their new home. Milton and Brenda Rose had a great vacation visiting Yellowstone and some of their family in Washington and the northwest |
