Show Assistance Available For Home Heating A state program that helps qualified low-income Utah residents resi-dents pay for utilities to heat their homes will once again offer assistance this fall and winter. The HEAT (Home Energy Assistance Target) program will begin accepting applications Nov. 1 from eligible low-income residents who are unable to pay their electricity and fuel bills for home heating during the approaching cold-weather months. Applicants must provide identification, Social Security cards for all people peo-ple age 18 or older in the home, , proof of income, and a copy of 1 the most recent bill from each ; utility company, or a printout 1 from those companies showing ; the home's energy costs during the coldest months. To apply for the HEAT program pro-gram residents may call toll-free 1-866-205-4357.
