Show I MimmiLu ! CSl'S I By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Visiting Howard and Dorothy Leavitt at their home here was Howard's brother, Harry Leavitt from Oceanside, Calif. He spent four days with them and they all enjoyed the visit. It had been quite some time since their last time together. Glenna and Anita Fletcher and Joyce Johnson of Panguitch went to visit their parents, Clement and Marie Broderick and sister, Janeen Anderson in St. George. They took their parents par-ents to Rockville to attend the wedding of their uncle Robert LeNor Cox and Mary Webb Jones; both from the class of '42 at Hurricane High School. Beautiful love songs and a dance followed the ceremony. Vaughn Twitchell is out of the hospital and in a care center in St. George to take therapy to help him to walk again. We are all happy that he has progressed this far on the road to recovery. Glenda Feltner had a complete com-plete knee replacement and will also be in the care center for four to six seeks for rehabilitation. We are happy that she is doing better. Our prayers and good wishes go to these good neighbors neigh-bors and friends. John Fletcher of Henderson, Nev. is spending a few days with i his mother, Marva Fletcher. He j took her to Cedar City where j they spent Tuesday night at Rosie Fletcher's home and Marva had to buy a replacement for her 23-year-old refrigerator. Marva is really enjoying John and Rosie spend time with her. : For the past two days, we i ; have been receiving beautiful ! light and steady rain. Just what j ' we need so badly here in the ' west. j In Cannonville LDS Sunday j School service, we were happy j to have Flint Chynoweth as the i youth speaker and Jerry Roundy ! : representing the Stake High I ' Council as the concluding speaker. We enjoyed their j ; words of counsel very much. |
