Show County Voters Head For The Polls On Nov. 2 Voters in Garfield County will head for the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 2 with record turnouts expected in this hotly contested presidential election where every vote is considered critical on all sides of the political politi-cal spectrum. The ballot for Tuesday's General Election is published in today's issue of the Garfield County News. Voter Information pamphlets were included in the Oct. 14 issue of the News. Garfield County contests are few. Utah State Representative Mike Noel of Kanab, a Republican, who represents the county for District 73 is seeking re-election, running against Green Party challenger Victoria Woodard of Escalante. County Commissioner Dell LeFevre of Boulder is also seeking seek-ing re-election to Commission Seat "C" with no opponent. Sixth District Judge K.L. Mclff and Sixth Juvenile District Judge Paul Lyman are up for retention. Also important in the county, school board elections are on for Districts 1, 2 and 3. In Panguitch District 1, Cindy Taylor Stewart is seeking re-election re-election against challenger Jeanne Russo-Whalen. In District 2, Brian Bremner and Mack Oetting are vying for the position. In District 3 incumbent incum-bent Marc McLemore is unchallenged. unchal-lenged.
