Gene and Bernice Collette, who bought the Tacy house next to the Bob McCulloughs, are back from their winter wanderings. wander-ings. Bernice said that traveling around can get to be boring and tiring. One just wants to get back home and stay in one place. Elizabeth Foy and daughter, Caroline were here to check on her house then returned to the Dixie country. The Panguitch High School basketball team came out in second sec-ond place in Region 1A Tournament play. Greg Excell has been called to be the Panguitch LDS Stake and Second Ward mission leader. Jane Excell has been called as a stake missionary. Leland Pollock has been called to be the Panguitch LDS Second Ward Young Men's Secretary. March 24 will be fast and testimony tes-timony meeting in the 2nd Ward as Steven Moore's missionary farewell will be held on Easter Sunday, Mar. 31. The 11 -year-old scouts had a merit badge pow-wow on Mar. 6. On Feb. 12, Ashley Veater, son of Daryl and Maxine Veater, went to Ogden to attend the Weber Basin Job Corps. t Mike and Teresa Davis and sons Dustin and Daniel and a friend, Kate, spent a couple of nights with Mike's grandma, Norma Talbot. They were returning to their home in Vernal from business meetings in St. George. Mike works for the city of Vernal. He is a son of Ellis and Louise Tate. The Davises also visited with their uncle and aunt, Hal and Roma Wilcock, of Cedar City. The Wilcocks came to pick up Norma and take her to stay with them for a while. They will also take her to- St. George for medical appointments. appoint-ments. People are beginning to line up times and places for summer family reunions. Jonie Barton, daughter of Neal and Tammy Barton, had pacemaker surgery this past week. She is out of the hospital and back in school and going about her regular schedule. Good luck to her. Helma and Elaine Haas came from Tropic, picked up Maxine Crosby, and went to Cedar City for a day out. They visited old friends Ella Adair and Jean Syrett at a care center there.
