Show CMHWriVILlG tlElVS By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 We were saddened to hear of the passing of one of our Cannonville LDS ward and community members, Sheldon Clark who died Monday evening at Garfield Memorial Hospital where he was taken by family members a few hours earlier with pneumonia. He had suffered with serious health problems for a long time. He was a good friend and neighbor and will be greatly missed. We offer condolences to his family. Cannonville LDS Ward Relief Society sisters from here who traveled to the Stake Relief Society Temple Day at St. George included Phyllis Beard, Glenna Fletcher, Glenda Feltner, Anna Dunham, Rita Hammer and Cathy Fletcher. Following the session, they were all given tickets to eat at Chuck-a-Rama. Trish Thompson gave me news of a new arrival to Odis and Tammi Witt Bess, born May 16 at the Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield. She weighed 7 pounds and is named Tazzia Skky Bess. Tammi is a daughter of the late Sam Witt and Gwen Baldwin Witt Evans. They were all residents here during past years. Mark Nadler, sustained Sunday as an elder in the LDS church, traveled to Salt Lake City to see Temple Square John and Ramona Morreale and family went to Salt Lake City on Friday to support their daughter, Christina Moss who is competing in the Days of '47 Queen Pageant. She was spon sored by the Pahreah Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, along with 58 other entries. The Morreale-Moss family also visited with their daughter and sister and her husband, hus-band, Tamra and Brandon Neily. They also spent time at Temple Square and the Clark Planetarium. In Sunday Cannonville LDS Sacrament meeting, Deysha Twitchell was graduated from Primary and is now a member of the Young Womens group. Brent Griffin represented the high council. He was accompanied by his wife, Kathie and their three children. Also participating participat-ing in the program were Brent McCormick, Phillip Bashard, Kathie Griffin and Brent Griffin. |
