Show Garfield Schools Graduate 84 Tonight Garfield County's three high schools will graduate 80 seniors on Thursday, May 29. Bryce Valley High School will graduate gradu-ate 20; Escalante High School 18; and Panguitch High School 46. Panguitch High School Commencement exercises for Panguitch High School will start at 7 p.m. with the traditional march of the graduation candidates candi-dates to "Pomp and Circumstance" with music by Rick Swanger. The welcome address will be given by Maggie Burrows and Kelci Eldredge and Syd Houston will introduce each candidate for graduation. The graduates will sing "I'm Moving On," and Senior Class President Joyce Lee will speak. An honoraryt dedication will be given by Brittney Nay and Erin Fischer and John Yardley will then speak. A musical selection, "Remember Me This Way," will be performed by Mandy Cooper and Nicole Orton. Maggie Burrows and John Zechlin were named co-valedictorians for the graduating class. High honor roll graduates will be distinguished by a blue rope, honor roll by a white rope, and Sterling Scholar graduates by a red rope. Senior Class advisors included Nathan Chamberlain and Debra Pollock. Escalante High School Commencement exercises at Escalante High School will start at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. Valedictorian of the senior class is Devin Shakespear and saluta-torian saluta-torian is Celestyn Hollingshead. The guest speaker of the evening will be Sue Bassett and Julie Koyle, Tara Keefe and Ian Hill will read the class wills. The reading of the prognostica- tion will be presented by Selina Todd, Brad Wilson and Rilee Smith. The graduating seniors will sing, "If We Hold On Together", and Shayne Pollock will introduce intro-duce guest speaker Mrs. Janice Hatch. Megan Pollock and Michelle Feltner will present a tribute to Savannah Chynoweth and a video will be shown as a tribute to the class. Bethany Comp and Christy Clark will present the class challenge chal-lenge and a tribute to parents and teachers will be given by Megan Clarke and Cody Mortensen. Advisor Cheryl LeFevre will announce the recipients of scholarships. Principal Layne LeLefevre will present the candidates can-didates for graduation who will be accepted by and receive their diplomas. They will be introduced intro-duced in turn by Jana Foster and Colby Olsen. Members of the audience will join the class in singing the Bryce Valley High School song led by Senior cheerleaders Megan Clarke, Jana Foster, Kaylynn Shakespear, Michelle Feltner, Christy Clarke and Dixie Thompson.
