The Bob and Louise Patterson family reunion is being held at Kings Creek. Her son, Kevin Patterson and wife, Hayley and son, Luke are here from Buckeye, Ariz. Also Louise's twin sister, Lois Hannig of Provo was on hand. Lula Moore, Doyle Nielsen, Wade and Ryan and Frankie Moore went to Cedar City for the graveside funeral of George Manning. Also at the same service serv-ice were Kim Johnson, Iris Bushnell and Doris Liles. George's wife, lone, is a cousin. Sandy Johnson visited her mother, Wanda Lifferth in a care center in Lehi. She also attended attend-ed an LDS missionary homecoming home-coming in Hobble Creek and a family reunion for her nephew, Spencer Lifferth, who served a mission in Russia. Sandy stayed with her sister, Gretchen and Kevin Nott in Lehi. On Sunday, Gary and Sandy Johnson and daughter, Rachael from Provo, went to Minersville for the blessing of Treyton Carter, son (See HENRIEVILLE on page 5) Henrieville From Page 4A of Brady and Ruth Carter. A family dinner was held after. Visiting with Robert and Louise Patterson are great grandchildren, Jacie and Lauren Patterson of St. George. We were saddened to hear of the death of Golda Mclnelly. She was 97 years old. Our sympathy to the family. Amon and Edith Barker had their daughter, Mary Ann Clevenger of Billings, Montana and sons, Terry Barker of Dickinson, N.D. and David Barker of Salt Lake City and their sons Wayne, Les and Mike all here for the funeral of Edith's mother. Also grandkids, Dusty and Trisha were on hand from Cedar City. Clive and Clone Newman of Ogden were here for the Golda Mclnelly service. She is Golda's sister. A niece, Ardella and Jack Kyle of Richfield were here as well as her daughter, Mona Rae Twitchell of Antimony and her kids, Robert, Debra, Dick, Lloyd, Sharon and Leon. Sherrill and Karen Tucker of Aurora, Colo, and children Tammy, Melvin, Marion of Salt Lake City were here as well as Verl and Miriam Mclnelly of Grantsville. Delano and LaRona Callahan's family were here including LaRonda Longhurst of Colonia Juarez Old Mexico, Linda Clayton of Kansas City, Thor and Cindy Johnson, Danny and Robin Chynoweth of Tropic and Glen and Shannon Pendley and families. Delano Callahan had a visit from his nieces, Corrine and Cindy Callahan and children of Fillmore. Virginia Wetzel has been in Thatcher, Ariz, helping out while the small child of Brandon and Emily Allen was in the hospital. hos-pital. We are happy he is home now and doing better. Ernie and Wynona Henderson visited Joanne Goulding in the Panguitch care center. She is sporting a walking walk-ing cast on her foot. They also visited Garth Heap who is a patient in the care center. Visitors at the Ernie Henderson home were Brian and Trish Dixon of Riverton and Brian Bullock and Mitch Henderson of St. George. They put a new shed in. Marilyn Partner, a former resident res-ident and her five children were in town and visited Lula Moore. Lula Moore and Darreld Neilson went to the graduation of Kayle Hatch in Panguitch. Word was received of the death of Doug Stoker in Boulder, Nev. He lived here growing up as the son of Herb and Viva Moore Stoker. The noise you have heard that past few days are the large trucks installing a new parking lot at the church. |
