Show fintimony News By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Saturday was the big day for Preston Gleave to be baptized into the LDS Church at the Circleville Chapel. Preston is a son of Scott and Marian Gleave and grandson of Calvin and Barbara Gleave and Ed and Janice Lazenby of Payson. The Lazenbys and their parents, Alvie and Clara Henline, also of Payson, came for the special day. Preston's great-grandfather, Alvie Henline baptized him. Grandma Barbara Gleave had a turkey dinner for all the family afterwards. Marion Gleave is working flagging flag-ging on the new construction between be-tween Circleville and Junction and Leon Twitchell is flagging for the state highway between the Otter Creek State Park and Koosharem. We are glad to report that Marge Robinson is home from Salt Lake City and her daughter, Bonnie Sessions from California is here for a few days to see that Marge is getting get-ting along okay and minds the doctor. doc-tor. Tracy Allen Peterson stayed for a few days with her parents, Phil and Billie Allen, but Scott Peterson, her husband, had to return to work. We were pleased the Jonathan Katz family as speakers at Sunday LDS Sacrament meeting. Phil Allen and Shannon and McKay Allen attended the bull sale in Ogden on the 14th of March. The 6-8th grade ball teams played in Bryce Valley on Monday. On the winning 6th grade team from Antimony Elementary was McKay Allen. On the 7th grade team was Tyler Willis and Cole Montague. They lost their first game. On the 8th grade team was Danny Kendall and as near as I can find, they won their first game. Koami Delange reports her brother, Ned Davis and wife, have returned home from their LDS mis sion in Detroit, Mich, and have been visiting in Florida with relatives rela-tives but will be here On the weekend week-end to visit. Monique Blood will be working one day a week in Richfield for Clark Knight Photography. Michelle Blood was home for the weekend and will be going to college without a break for the next year. She will graduate with an RN degree from Brigham Young University School of Nursing. Coming on Tuesday to visit with Van and Betty Wiley will be her brother and sister-in-law, I Hurschel and Chloris Coppinger of: Cortez, Colo. The LDS Relief Society had a spaghetti dinner on Saturday evening to commemorate their birthday. Our sympathy is with Gary ' Hansen on the death of his sister, Janene Ochsenbein of Ogden. She had been ill for some time but her death was sudden. Beverly, Mike and Gary Hansen stayed up there for the funeral on Monday. Then Beverly and Mike came home and Gary is still in Ogden with the family fam-ily and he is keeping some doctor appointments. Hal and Athalia Jensen spent a few days in Provo with Don and Eva Green and got acquainted with their new granddaughter. They also visited in Nephi with Matt Gould who was home on leave from the U.S. Air Force. Randy and Kathy Gould, his parents, had a family dinner for everyone before he and his wife left to go back for training. On Athalia's birthday, Hal and Athalia spent Sunday with Lawaun and Melva Hatch in Fredonia, Ariz. He is Athalia's brother. Tracy Savage will be going back to her job at Bryce Canyon National Park this week. It seemed so good to have her home for the winter. |
