Show Tropic News By Louise Ott 679-8776 Visiting with Scott and Marie Barton were Marie's mother Mary Mendenhall from Cedar City and her sister Kathleen, husband Joe Plessl and their daughters Sally, Lisa, and Emily from Allentown Conn. Lowell and Margaret Mecham and daughter Sherrie Mecham went to the Bountiful LDS Temple Tem-ple with other daughter and sister Shauna and husband Gerald Talbot, Tal-bot, where their kids, Tony and Jackie were sealed to them. There was many family members in attendance for the occasion. Margaret and Lowell arrived home, re-packed their bags and took off for Cody, Wyo. to attend telephone meetings. They drove there so they could enjoy all of the scenery. Margaret thinks it is time for their luggage to have a rest, along with them. Marian Mecham and daughter Pam Miles has been visiting Ann Thorton in Tuscon, Ariz. Franz and Margaret Shake-spear Shake-spear and family were in New Mexico. Rex Sylvester and the Dave Wilson family visted with Nell Wilson and helped her with her yard sale. Rex Sylvester also visited with Stanley Ott; they attended Dixie College together. Stonnie, Francine and Jake Pollock have moved to New Mexico Mex-ico where Stonnie will be going to school. Lonnie and Cheryl Pollock helped move them. Laurie Dee Holley Coon was visiting at the post office recently. It was good seeing her again. Kenneth Alvey visited with his parents, Royal and Rella Alvey. Rella also reports of another great-grandson, Kayden Kory Talbot, Tal-bot, grandson of Lynn and Sonie Allen. Eva Dean Francisco had tests in St. George. She had a reaction to the dye that was used. The doctor said that the chance of that happening was 1 in 2 million -guess we always knew that EvaDean was special! She is also recovering from hand surgery. Members of the Class of 1977 held their 20-year reunion at Ko-dachrome Ko-dachrome State Park and those who attended were: Vicki Shakespear Coon; Julie Goulding Jolley; Bart Smith, Loren Willis; Susan Reynolds; Martin and Carla Ramsay; Marie Pollock Bronson; Jeanne Rose Payne; and Renon Ruesch Bybee. From all reports they really had a great time and were all there but two classmates. Phyllis and Max Stewart had an added reason to celebrate their anniversary this year as they were blessed with a new grandson Dane Michael, son of Trevor and Jennifer Stewart.
