Show firca Obi tuq rics Hilda Orton Chidester PANGUITCH, UTAH Our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, grand-mother, and great-grandmother, Hilda Orton Chidester, 88, of Panguitch, Utah died Aug. 10, 1996 in Panguitch, after a lifetime of dedicated and loving service. We love you mom, the memories will never fade. We know you are in a far better place and with loved ones. Mom was born Apr. 17, 1908 in Panguitch to Henry Sadler and Elizabeth Linford Orton. She married mar-ried our father, Loris Elton "Fuzz" Chidester in the Manti LDS Temple, June 3, 1926. After 69 years of marriage, he preceded her in death Nov. 24, 1995. Mom was always sharing and giving. She was an excellent cook and pie maker. As a dedicated homemaker, she always made everyone ev-eryone welcome who came to her home and shared her cooking talents. tal-ents. She was an active member of the BPW, as well as other civic clubs. She excelled in quilting and loved her association with all the quilters. She loved to spend time in her garden and can and preserve her harvest. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served as president of the Relief Society in both the ward and stake. She was a Primary and MIA worker and taught many Sunday School classes. clas-ses. Of her many accomplishments in life, she is most proud of the accomplishment ac-complishment of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three sons and one daughter and their spouses, Dee L. and Drexel Chidester, Milford; Arthur and Dorothy Chidester, Highland; Ted and Shirley Chidester, Panguitch and Lola and Earl Henrie, Panguitch; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also brothers and sisters, Merle Errett, Burbank, Calif.; Lola Farnsworth, St. George; Emma Dee Houston, Kanab; Frank Orton, Panguitch and Linford Orton, St. George. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers, Max, Rex, Cecil, Dee, and Dwayne and a grandson, Dennis Henrie. Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 15, 1996 at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 200 N. 400 E., Panguitch. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Panguitch, Thursday morning from 1 1 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Son Ted Chidester will offer the Hilda Orton Chidester family prayer, with prelude and postlude music by Karran Harris. Bishop Kenneth Miller will officiate at the services, with son Dee Chidester offering the invocation. invo-cation. Granddaughters Julie, Jill and Maria Chidester will sing "Beyond the Sunset" accompanied by Barbara Heaton. Debbie Frand-sen Frand-sen will offer a "Tribute to Grandma" Grand-ma" and Emma Houston, a sister, will present a "Sister's Tribute." Grandson Brad Chidester will play "The Joy of Love" on the piano, followed by son Arthur Chidester who will speak. Hilda's grandchildren will sing "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," accompanied accompan-ied by Barbara Heaton. Remarks will be offered by Bishop Miller, followed by the benediction offered by grandson Bret Chidester. Pallbearers will be Dee L. Chidester, Arthur Chidester, Ted Chidester, Earl C. Henrie, David Henrie, Shannon Chidester, Brad Chidester, and Bart Chidester. Honorary pallbearers will be Linford Orton, H. Frank Orton, Robert Romine, Bret Chidester, Dan Chidester, Kevin Frandsen, Brian Frandsen, Nick Frandsen, Dennis Frandsen, Eric Frandsen, Brandon Henrie, Brady Henrie, Colton Henrie, Josh Henrie, Jay Bennett, Clayton Wilson, Shawn Saybolt, Orion Wilson, Cooper Wilson, Robbie Romine, Dennis Chidester, Bryan Parker, Eric Parker, Jerry L. Chidester, Howard D. Chidester, and James Chidester. H. Frank Orton will dedicate the grave at Panguitch Cemetery with burial under the direction of Neal Si Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Sherrie Lynn Twitchell PANGUITCH, UTAH Sherrie Lynn Jolley Twitchell, 41 of Panguitch, Utah died Aug. 1 1, 1996 from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was born Mar. 1 , 1955 in Henderson, Nev. to C. LeMar and Joyce Darlene Swenson Jolley. She married Ray Hernandez and later divorced. She married Craig Twitchell, Oct. 3, 1987 in Panguitch. Sherrie loved to fish, hunt and ride horses. She enjoyed doing handwork. Gifts of quilts and afghans were common among her family and friends She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Sherron Twitchell, Las Vegas, Nev.; Crista Hernandez, Panguitch and Autumn Hernandez of Panguitch; four step-children, Tiffany and Bob Maryweather, Beaver; April and Chris Chappell, Cedar City; Vincent Twitchell, Beaver and Lucas Twitchell, Beaver. Also four grandchildren Courtney Twitchell, Chelsea Twitchell, Chase Chappell and Megan Young; two sisters Annette and Russell Bridges, Panguitch; Julie and Russell Griffin, St. George; her father, C. LaMar Jolley, Panguitch and mother, Joyce Jolley, Ivins and grandmothers Louise Swenson, Lindon and Zola Jolley, St. George. She also included in-cluded her nieces and nephews in her family circle. She was preceded in death by a son, Quinten Hernandez, a brother, Randy Jolley and grandfathers Orin Swenson and Clive Jolley. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1996 at 11 a.m. in the Panguitch 3rd Ward Chapel. Officiating the services was Bishop Del Hulet of the Panguitch 3rd Ward. A family prayer was offered by Randy Dickinson. Prelude music was played by Sherrell Henrie and the invocation was given by David Tebbs. A vocal vo-cal solo was sung by Cherlyn Sherrie Lynn Jolley Twitchell Jones, two tributes were given by Randy Dickenson and Sandra Cox, and another vocal solo was sung by Matt Tebbs, "If Tomorrow Never Comes." Crista Hernandez was the next speaker, followed by remarks by Bishop Del Hulet and a volcal solo by Becca Brinkerhoff, "I Will Always Love You." The benediction benedic-tion was offered by Jennifer Bridges and postlude music was played by Sherrell Henrie. Pallbearers were Russell Bridges, Russell Griffin, Robert Yates, Randy Dickinson, Tracy Sidwell, Josh Griffin, Joey Griddin, and Tommy Bridges. Honorary pallbearers were Chad Griffin, Colton Jolley, Tyler Sidwell, Quinten Hernandez, Tyson Hernandez, Jace Zeeman, Tanner Zeeman, Lucas Twitchell, Vincent Twitchell, Chase Chappell, and Raymond Young. Burial was in the Panguitch Cemetery and the dedication of the grave . was given by Blaine Peterson. Compassionate services were given by the Panguitch 3rd Ward Relief Society sisters.
