Show By Mamie Talbot 676-8064 Around town there has been a rash of injuries from falls. Some broken bones, wrenches, bruises and what not. It makes one tend to be more cautious about using stairs, ladders and watching for icy patches. In general just being more careful where we put our feet. A cane comes in handy for balance I've found. Art and Beverly Crosby had the 30 members of their family home for the Thanksgiving holiday. Frank and Lola Henrie and Colleen Simkins went to Orem to spend the week at daughter Kathy Mitchells and attend the wedding and reception of grandson Marc Mitchell. Barbara and Mamie Talbot went to Cedar City to have the holiday dinner with the Alan Talbot family who met in the lovely new home of Cleave and Tami Talbot Weaver in Fiddlers Canyon. Dennis and Karen T. Williams and their "still at home kids" Aaron, Miriam and Kellie came from South Jordan for the occasion oc-casion then enjoyed a tour of Zion Canyon. Next day they came in the cold snowstorm to Panguitch and stayed cuddled in with mom until Saturday when they headed home. We all appreciate the UDOT workers work-ers who had the roads sanded to take valley visitors out and home folks back in. The Kay HeywoodsJoe Fischers families had 35 members out of 40 here for Justin Fischers wedding and the holiday. The combined 40 member Orton-Owens families had their holiday hol-iday dinner in Denny and Jean Ortons big heated garage. Alta Orton was the matriarch and Kern Owens was the patriarch present. On Sunday they all happily attended the blessing of little Shelby Brielle by her father Gary Leach. Mommy Sheree's folks were all here from Beaver to join in the happy occasion occa-sion and there was another big dinner din-ner and fun time. Wally and Lynette Orton and son Steve went to Salt Lake to see daughter Holly Orton off on her mission to Bolivia. |
