Show Panguitch Lake News By Tracy Armstrong 676-2277 At the Rustic Lodge to see Santa during the Christmas Holidays were Maranda and Rachel Bodas, with mom Terri, John Boschetto, Rick and Suzi Holta, Carolee Jarvis, John and Sonja Brouwers and their four children, the Safian family and the Armstrong family. The refreshments refresh-ments were delicious, especially Diane's chocolate-covered peanut butter balls. I ate more than my share! Santa was especially generous gener-ous and we hope this is the beginning begin-ning of an annual event. After our last column, Pat Mock called to tell me that I had erred in reference to Ed's grandmother's age. Seems I short-changed her three years. Our snowmobile rider, Ann Fazio, is really 95 years young! Also, I was able to learn more about the Mock family. They came to the lake from Las Vegas, where Ed owned his own transmission repair re-pair shop. Retirement was the idea, yet already plans are in the works for a new repair shop in Cedar City. Pat is a "city girl" who has fallen in love with Panguitch Lake and Panguitch. She loves horseback riding and enjoys sewing and knitting-related crafts. Both of their sons attend Panguitch High School. Chris Mock, 15, likes wrestling, snowmobiling and riding quads. Brian Mock, 14, loves fishing. Dad says he is also a daredevil and has enjoyed being around his father's business. Dad also says the boys are good hard workers. New Years came with many visitors vis-itors to the lake, but probably not as many as if we would have had some snow to play in! |
