TROPIC Merchants across Garfield County have made it a tradition to join with Garfield Memorial Hospital to annually pay tribute to the first baby born in the new year. t Recipients of this year's "bounteous baby booty" are Randel and Dianna Leslie of Tropic who gave birth to their firstborn, a son, Trenton Kenneth Leslie at 9:03 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996. The lad weighed in at 8 lbs. 10 ozs. and measured 19 inches. Grandparents of the newborn are Kenneth and Doris Leslie, Panguitch and Raymond and Ronnie Brinkerhoff, Tropic. Great grandmothers are Ora Brinkerhoff, Tropic and Dellis LeFevre, Panguitch. Amplus LeFevre of Tropic is the great, great-grandmother. great-grandmother.
