Show ' Hatch News . By May Sawyer 7354207 William and Mary Riggs and children of Las Vegas visited his parents, Leland and Adell Riggs over the weekend. La Mar Barney is home for a few days checking on things. His son, Kenneth Barney of Roy, came home with him. Dorothy Barney is out of the hospital staying with her sister, Evelyn Harper in South Weber. Deuard Riggs of Salt Lake City was here checking on his mother's home. He reports that his mother, Estella Riggs, is out of the hospital and doing better. Saturday, Mervin and Lorna Barnhurst went to St. George to attend the LDS temple. Darol and Beth Allred and May Sawyer also went. In the afternoon, they visited at the homes of Lyle and Ann Allred, Julia Turek and Ada Nordell, Gail Wilcock and Hope Dalton, all of Washington. Then they went to Hurricane where they visited Lynn and Noreen Evans and the Deloy Evans family. I'm happy to report that Lynn is feeling much better. Darol and Beth Allred visited Ileta Dix in Panguitch for her birthday, Jan. 25. Cassie Mack returned home to Fullerton, Calif, on Sunday. Layton Barney is looking good after having surgery last week. On Thursday afternoon during the snowstorm, the school bus was transporting the Hatch children home from school in Panguitch, stopping at the stop to let children off at Roller Mill Hill when it was struck by a car that was unable to stop on the snow-packed highway. Happily, there were no injuries. |
