Show M Mm Bryce Valley's Homecoming Game fans couldn't have been happier when the Mustangs rolled over BV Gallops Past Escalante Moquis In Mustang9 s Homecoming Game By John Yardley Bryce Valley galloped past Escalante in the Mustang's Home-comine Home-comine Game 7Q-S0 BV opened up a big half, leading Escalante 79-59. Clint Brinkerhoff hit for 25 Waylon Brinkerhoff counted 18 and Lance Syrett 11. 43-25 at intermission, as they continued to play some fine basketball. Clint Brinkerhoff swished 25, Waylon Brinkerhoff 18, and Lance Syrett 1 1 to lead the home team to victory. Garrett Cottam pumped in 28 for Escalante and Dusty Barnson scored 14 for the visitors 'from the east. Panguitch was upset at valley as the Buffaloes played it close to the vest and beat PHS 53-51. The Bobcats regained the lead in the last five minutes, but an easy Valley hoop turned it into a close game. The Bobcats ahd a chance at the buzzer, but the ball rolled just off. In this low scoring game, points were precious, and especially on Valley's home court. Jeremy Withers scored 13, while Justin Miller and Gaylen Dalton each made 1 1 for the Bobcats in a tough road loss. In other games, Enterprise upset Piute at Junction and Wayne defeated Milford. The Badgers now stand alone in first place. They travel to Panguitch this weekend. Bryce Valley plays at Milford and Escalante entertains. Enterprise. |
