Show PFUSAState Convention Set For Richfield Members of local chapters of People For the USA will join with those from other chapters all over Utah on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 8-9, for the organization's first annual an-nual state convention. A fully-empowered fully-empowered state organization will be formed, and state officers elected so that the state organization will be ready to make a significant impact on the next state legislative session. The convention is set for Frontier Village, 1625 N. Main in Richfield. Friday's Circa Seminar, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., will feature Lead Attorney Lana Marcussen and Jim Tenney. Participants will learn about the Supreme Court rulings reestab-lishing accountability and our Con-stitution as the law of the land. They will understand how elected officials have the ability to protect individuals and stop the land grab by the federal government. Dr. Oliver DeMille, president of George Wythe College will be the guest dinner speaker. Dr. DeMille is a two-time recipient of the George Washington Gold Honor Medal from the Freedom Foundation Foun-dation at Valley Forge. Saturday's all-day discussion sessions will include focus on Wilderness, Wil-derness, RS2477 Road Rights, Envision Utah - Growth Hysteria, UN - Wildlands Connection. The Utah COPS (Council of Presidents) will organize a state level of PFUSA. The convention costs are $25 and include Friday night's dinner, and Saturday's continental breakfast break-fast and lunch. Registration for Friday's Circa Seminar is an additional $25. Accommodations, at Days Inn (435-896-6476) and Super 8 (435-896-9204) are available at reasonable rea-sonable rates.
