While there, they took Phyllis' mother to the Robert Burns festival and dinner, din-ner, sponsored ,by the Caledonian Society. Mel's favorite part of the festival program was when the bagpipes bag-pipes finished their playing. Desmond arid Gretha Twitchell are spending a couple of weeks here at home while the St. George LDS Temple is closed for winter 'Vacation. 'Vaca-tion. Cliff and Roanne Reynolds" and son Adric of Payson spent .'the weekend here visiting his parents, Lark and Bea Reynolds John Morreale returned from a trip to California to take care , of rental property he owns there, i . . On Sunday, Jan. 17, Howard and Dorothy Leavitt attended LDS Church in Panguitch where their son in-law, Wallace Lee, was 'sustained 'sus-tained as Second Counselor in. the Bishopric of the Third LDS Ward. Afterward, they enjoyed a family dinner. ".- Joe and Violet Rae Hughes returned re-turned from a trip to Quartsite, Ariz, and also spent three days 'attending 'at-tending a series of Western Music Concerts held in Blythe, Calif.' Joe, George and Daniel Thompson, Brook Wiseman and Mike Barker spent several days" attending at-tending a concrete show held in Las Vegas. They also visited George and Ada Thompson and the Tom Beece family there. Jim Clarke was the speaker in LDS Sacrament meeting in our Ward Jan. 24th. Rosemary Fletcher took her parents, par-ents, Clele and Marva Fletcher to Richfield on Saturday. She returned to her home in Cedar City on Sunday. |
