Club officers also plan to attend Panguitch City Council and Senior Citizens meetings to acquaint and inform citizens of their club. The LEO Club idea was submitted to the Lions Club by member Sherril Henrie as a means of making area residents aware of the many fine contributions contri-butions students in Panguitch make. The clubs are also designed to teach students how to contribute to their community through service. Residents with a special need of help may contact Henrie or any Lions or LEO Club member for help. The Panguitch LEO Cub is the 4th of its kind in Southern Utah. The Panguitch Lions Club, through its moral and financial support, made possible the organization of the LEO Club. If parents, are interested in joining the Lions Club or students wish to join the LEO Club, they can contact any member of either club for information. |
