Show By Marlene Haws 826-4859 Haynes and Iola Woolsey enjoyed en-joyed a visit from grandkids through the week. Jesse and Courtney Tatman came from bluebell blue-bell and brought their two children, baby girl Cassie and three-year-old son Garrett. Phil and Harriet Priska have been to California two or three times lately. Once Jo help pack up the belongings of Harriet's parents in preparation for a move into a new home. Another time to help them move and a third time for a niece's wedding. Harriet says she is always glad to get back home to Escalante. Julie Ford drove a busload of senior citizens to Gannonville last Saturday for the Old Time Fiddlers Bear Festival. Besides Julie, the passenger list included Velma Boulter, Boul-ter, Beth Smith, Dudley and Hazel Spencer, Ruby Griffin, Loreta Spencer, Rolain Alvey and Clorene Vidrine. They said it was well worth the trip. They had a great time. Que and Dawn Porter had their daughter, Lori Franklin, Dave and children here for a few days. The kids all enjoyed camping at the old CCC Camp on the mountain. The day I talked to Dawn, she said Que had gone up to visit with them for a while and hadn't come back. Smart man. That's the place to be and beat the heat! Theron and Dixie Mitchell took granddaughter Whitney Brooks to Ely, Nev,, where they enjoyed a visit with the family of Kevin and Tracy Robison. |
