It saves the irrigation water for later when folks remember to turn their water off and not running constantly. Seventy-five members of Eva Marshalls family and friends met at Red Canyon on July 3 to celebrate her 89th birthday, which is actually on July 31. But, to make it convenient con-venient for her daughter Wilma who has medical problems, they moved it up. Many of Eva's late husbands Maurice Marshalls families were here from around the state. Son Donald and Barbara Gai Excell Marshall Mar-shall are on a LDS mission at Nau-voo, Nau-voo, 111., but will be home shortly. The mission farewell for Crystal Dawn Gilbert was held in LDS Panguitch 4th Ward on July 11.. Panguitch native Ray Talbot, son of the late Edwin and Aha Talbot Tal-bot was an over-night guest at Bob and Juanita Smiths. He came fi jm the north to attend Eva Marshals party. Bob reports visiting with Mack Justet, another native who lived in the Smith neighborhood as a boy. He was the son of the Jim Justets. The walls on the Phil Singletons Single-tons home are going up. They are of a different kind of cinder block. The roof is going up on the baseball complex building and work with the athletic field of the high school is moving ahead. Panguitch native Steven Houston, Hous-ton, son of the late Prince and Gail Daily Houston visited in town with his aunt Merle Stowell. The middle school is being prepared pre-pared for a complete new covering so the different sections will match. The Kenny Orton home is getting get-ting a new roof and two porches. |
