Show HEAT Program Will Help Pay Winter Fuel Bills ESCALANTE Those who have not signed up for this year's HEAT program may still do so until un-til funds are exhausted says Garfield County Senior Citizens director Deon Alvey. The federal program is designed for low income families to help them with the winter months' higher fuel billings. Potential applicants should bring their Social Security cards, something that verifies their income in-come and their most recent fuel bill. Alvey will be in Escalante on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., in Tropic at the Scout House on Wednesday mornings from 10 until 11:45, and on Monday afternoons after-noons in Henrieville at the town hall from 12:30 until 2 . She will be in Panguitch on Thursdays at the Human Services Office from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Alvey may be reached at 801-826-4317 most days or at 801-826-4323 in the evening. |
