Show Tropic Hunter Safety Course TROPIC Would-be hunters ages 12 and over in the Bryce Valley area are excited about a Hunter Safety course set for Mar. 21-25 in Tropic at Bryce Valley High School. The class will begin at 4 p.m. each weekday except Friday when special hours will be set for the final day of the course. The course will not be offered again this year, according to Tom Shakespeare, instructor. Successful participants will be issued a Hunter Safety Certificate and the required "blue card" necessary to obtain a hunting license. Signups can be made at the school, at Doug's Place in Tropic and at Bryce Valley Supply in Cannonville. Eleven-year-olds looking forward to the time when they are old enough to obtain a license may take the course, Shakespeare said, and then repeat it when they are 12. Cost for the course is S4 per student. All study materials will be supplied. Information about the cost' of the course is available from Shakespeare at 679-8818 or at the school. |
