Show Trooper Gets 10-Day 10-Day Suspension PANGUITCH Panguitch-based Panguitch-based Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Craig T. Twitchell, who has been on official administrative leave since Jan. 3 has been given a 10-working-day suspension by the Utah Highway Patrol. according to Utah Public SafetyUtah Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Gary Whitney on Tuesday afternoon. after-noon. Twitchell was placed on administrative admin-istrative leave after voluntarily submitting to a breathalyzer test which he failed to pass. He subsequently subse-quently entered into and successfully success-fully completed a short-term alcohol alco-hol treatment program. Charges against Twitchell were based upon information supplied by UHP Sgt. Roger Culler, and Twitchell was subsequently charged in the Kanab Justice Court.with one count of Driving Under the Influence, first offense, a class B misdemeanor At last report, re-port, there had been no disposition of the case. |
