Show Jeramy Henrie Receives Eagle After Sign Project PANGUITCH Jeramy Henrie, Hen-rie, 16, a junior at Panguitch High School, received his Eagle Scout award at an intimate family gathering gather-ing and dinner where Bishop Val Church presented him with his Eagle Ea-gle certificate. Henrie is a member of Panguitch Pangui-tch Scout Troop 680, with Troy Norris as his present scoutmaster. On the way to his goal, he earned 22 merit badges, the most difficult of which, he says, was Environmental Science. Henrie's Eagle project was erecting a new sign at the Daughters Daugh-ters of Utah Pioneers museum in Panguitch. The ladies of the local DUP chapter met to decide on the type of sign they wanted, then ordered it to be made according to their special specifications. When it arrived, Henrie, with help from six fellow troop members, his Varsity leader Doug Evans, and his father Lowell V, Henrie, Jr., dug out the old sign, assembled the new one, prepared a new concrete foundation and erected the bright new sign. Jeramy is a son of Janis and Lowell V. Henrie, Jr. This is the second Eagle award in the Henrie family and a younger brother is well on his way to earning the family's fam-ily's third. Jeramy expressed thanks to his parents, former scoutmaster Joe Nay and all others instrumental in his achieving his goal. |
