Show By Jeanne Harshman 335-7348 The snow falls lightly but persistently per-sistently from the heavens. It blankets the sleeping earth with a white comforter of moisture and dreams of a greener spring. It's so quiet outside. For many in Boulder it's a time of winter projects, sewing, quilting, candymaking, reading, catching up on old projects and starting new ones. For those with active young people, it's winter win-ter sports, school activities and family affairs. Things are quiet! Bill and Pearl Wells moved back to Hanksville to be near their family. We sincerely hope Bill's health improves with the move. David and Gloria Holliday have moved back to Boulder with their three children. He works with B.O.S.S., the survival school. It's great to see the Barschcs' horse and buggy clip clogging over Boulder's snowy roads on their daily errands. Nostalgic. Barbara Wood and daughter Kathleen were here for a few days at Rainbow Ranch and enjoyed the snow and quiet retreat from busy city life. Jamie Lenon visited with her grandparents, the Ray Harshmans, for a week. She lives in Boulder City, Nev. Hills and Hollows is now closed for the winter and Robert and Donna Owen will be doing some remodeling. Hall's store will still be open Monday through Saturday all winter. New Years resolutions again abound. It seems that just about everyone wants to lose weight. A group of ladies here in Boulder is seriously talking of exercising to music, and learning more about their health and good looks. More will be forthcoming about the subject sub-ject as the weeks of 1993 go by. Will they do it? Can they do it? Stay tuned to the Boulder column. Be sure and let me know what's new with you and yours. |
