A bridal shower for Anita Francisco Iverson was held on Saturday afternoon at the Tropic ' LDS Ward Relief Society room. Dr. Kim Ott and his family spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Ott. The Jack Pollocks enjoyed having hav-ing their son, Gail and daughter-in-law, Marie and small daughter, Denver, spend a few days with them during the holidays. John Ruesch and family were visitors at the Orlan Ruesch home. The grandchildren kept Orlan and Ferriland on their toes for a a few days. Lane Garrett gave his mission report on Sunday in Tropic LDS Ward Sacrament meeting. Tod Feltner will give his report next Sunday. The Fred Syretts met son Gary as he left the plane returning from his LDS mission in California. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar LeFevre attended the inauguration of Governor Gov-ernor Mike Leavitt in Salt Lake City. Paul and Keela Mangum made a trip to Phoenix, Ariz. Paul was in Fredonia, Ariz., on Saturday to watch TV and see his horse race in Phoenix. The horse won its race. Dale Pollock left on Wednesday for Somalia with the U.S. Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Mecham made a trip to Salt Lake City for Stan to have surgery on his hand. Clint and Lori Mecham took their boys to Disneyland during the holidays. Ron and Susan Harris and Spring and Jean Sciler attended a travel meeting in Anaheim, Calif. Silas and Irene Munson enjoyed having son Alan Munson's children, chil-dren, Stephanie, Shanon, Darrcll and John visit with them during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Dallcn Baugh and Mr. and Mrs. Birch Moore spent the holidays with the Matland Baughs. Mr. and Mrs. Casey Richards have moved to Tropic. They are living in the home that the postmaster post-master had been living in. Mark Bybee, at the Job Service office, was the guest speaker at Relief Re-lief Society for their work meeting. The visiting teachers received their new districts and partners at the same meeting. Minnie Neilsen was the hostess for the LDS Single Adult family home evening group. Bill and Stacey Pollock and family, Delta, visited with the Larvin Pollocks. Beatrice Barton enjoyed a visit from her granddaughter and husband, hus-band, Stephanie and Mike Lemley of California. Darwin and Kathy Shakespeare took their daughter, Krisette to Salt Lake City to attend LDS Business College. Tawn and Cassie Mangum were in Cedar City on business this week.
