Show Open House Set For 80th Birthday - Virginia Bauer MS CEDAR CITY On Saturday, March 26, 1994 Virginia Wilcock Bauer will be honored on the occasion occa-sion of her 80th birthday. An Open House will be given by her children and their spouses, Evan and Janinc Jolley, Garlan and Ruth Mitchell and Daniel and Nancy Bauer, from 5 until 7 p.m., in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Cedar West Slake Center at 725 South 1 100 West. Attendees arc asked to please enter through the northeast doors. All family and friends arc invited in-vited to attend and the family has requested no gifts please. Virginia was born and reared in Escalante. She attended school there and graduated from Escalante High School. She furthered her education ed-ucation at Branch Agricultural College, Col-lege, College of Southern Utah, Southern Utah Slate College (now ' 1 1 m m Virginia Bauer Southern Utah University and Brigham Young University. She received her Masters Degree in Education Ed-ucation from Ulah State University and taught in elementary schools in Iron County for 39 years. She married W. LaVand Bauer June 3, 1936 in the St. George LDS Temple. He passed away Apr. 9, 1978. For 44 years she served as an ordinance worker in the St. George LDS Temple and continues to work on her Family File records and in the Cedar City Regional Name Extraction Ex-traction Program. |
