Show mm. c mm By Marta Peterson 834-5306 Bryce Canyon National Park participated in the human dog sled race at the Bryce Canyon Winter Festival and earned a respectable second place finish. The "dogs" were Clyde Stonaker, John Mor-lock, Mor-lock, Ed Uptain, Jeremy Carson, John Harding, Lem Pratt and Ananda Morlock and Brianne Pratt functioned as the "puppies" that rode in the sled. The park sled also was given the dubious honor as the "Most Unlikely Sled." John Morlock, Charlie Peterson, Lem Pratt and Clyde Stonaker attended at-tended a special fire class in Cedar City. This will allow them to work around helicopters during fire suppression. Michael Castagnetto is on leave in San Francisco to be with his ailing ail-ing grandmother. Bryce Canyon's thoughts are with them in their time of need. The Jerry Cantu family traveled to Jackson Hole, Wyo. where they once lived and worked, to visit friends. The winter weather actually actu-ally cooperated with sunny skies and crisp clear days. Susan and John Colclazer traveled trav-eled to warm Phoenix to spend time with relatives. Susan's friends always al-ways look forward to her return from Arizona because of the wonderful citrus fruits she brings back and shares with her park amigos. |
