Show Cannonville Cannonville News Dorothy Leavitt Now that the bear scare is over, Cannonville is getting back to normal with children and grandchildren running all over the red rocks. Mr. and Mrs. Merwin Dunham have their grandchildren visiting them from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Clark have their grandson visiting them. Grclha Twitchell was a patient at Garfield Memorial Hospital for a day. Ariel Fletcher is also in the hospital. Bonnie Nelson traveled to Salt Lake City last week and spent several days visiting her sister, Mary Graff. Anna Mac LeFevre and her granddaughter Audrey Davis traveled to Cedar City for medical appointments. Hobart Fcltncr, Norm LeFevre and Howard Leavitt spent several days fishing at Lower Bowns Reservoir. Visiting Melda Davis was her daughter Carol Burrows of Kanab. Erika Fletcher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fletcher, spent several days visiting her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Danny Fletcher in Panquitch. Members of the Wally Lee family of St. George were here visiting Kelly's parents, the Howard Leavitt's. Cannonville joined Tropic for their July 24 on July 25, starting with a great breakfast in Cannonville by residents of both towns. Then all gathered at Tropic with floats and races and booths. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thompson and family won a $25. gift certificate for dinner at the Pine's restaurant for their float. Mr. and Mrs. Chad Moss, Cedar City, are here visiting LaVcre Moss and Chad's father who is in the hospital in Panguilch. Mr. and Mrs. Jody Hcaton traveled to Cedar City for dental appointments. Speakers in sacrament meeting Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. David Jensen, Tropic, stake missionaries for the Escalante Stake. Visiting the Monte Twitchell home is Rita's mother, Connie Klcese, Cedar City. Visiting his grandmother Arma Slock was Dirk Burr from Green River, Wyo. |
