Show PHS Science Students Win Spots In UP&L Alternate Energy Event Panguitch High School science students have been successfully involved in-volved in three exhibit judgings in the past 10 days. On March 10, the school's own fair was sponsored by Utah Power and Light and was involved with "Alternate Energy Sources." The winning entry was created by Tammy Baldwin and Stacee Yardley. Stacie Proctor's winning entry was titled, "How Nuclear Energy Is Made." In a March 16 Richfield meet, and competing against 320 entries from 18 schools in seven districts, Proctor's "How Nuclear Energy Is Made," entry took first place. An entry from three Panguitch High School students, Frank Richards, Skip Houston, and Ryan Brinker-hoff, Brinker-hoff, "Methane Gas From Animal Wastes," took second place. First Place winners received plaques and $75 to share, while second place winners also received plaques and $50 to share. On March 17 a general district wide science fair contest was held in Panguitch High School with only PHS and Escalante Elementary Elemen-tary School entering exhibits.
