Show Panguitch News The Frank Henries traveled by train to Colorado to visit their daughter Pat Green and to do some building for her. The Earl Roes and sisters Winona Sevy, Beverly Crosby, Thais Griffin, and Ardis Davis met Ken Roe in Salt Lake City where they attended the funeral for cousin Calvin Montague. Ardis brought her sisters home and they went to visit Jeddy Cooper and Iris Soren-son Soren-son in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Young spent some time here with Jimmy's mother Grace Young. Jay Clark bought the Dowdcll property on North Main. La Vera Elmer, Mesa, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hooper and daughter Carma Hooper, Kanab; and Mclba Jean Davis, Escalante, are here visiting their mother Mabel Norton, an extended-care patient at Garfield Memorial Hospital. Out-of-town visitors to EInora Nicbcl, a patient at Garfield Memorial Hospital, were her daughter Dcanne McFarland, Hobbs, N.M.; sister Irene Peterson and Irene's husband Marcus Peterson, Peter-son, St. George; brother-in-law Harold Peterson, Salina; brother and sister-in-law Earnest and Elaine Bastian, Aurora. Mr. and Mrs. Otho Bulklcy made a trip to Salt Lake City for medical tests. Vclta Miller is home for a week accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Art Visitors at the home of Merle Stowcll Saturday afternoon were Maureen Mangum, Melissa Mangum, Amy Mangum, Willy Mangum, Susan John, and Amy Hargrove, all Mapleton; and the Wayne Holmans. Vacationing with Rachel Anderson Ander-son at Lehman Caves, Zion National Na-tional Park and Bryce Canyon National Na-tional Park were her parents the Ag Mendcnhalls of Richmond, and her sister Margaret Passavant, Evanston, Wyo. Weekend visitors with Rachel were her sons Austin Anderson and Rob Anderson, Logan. Lo-gan. Erna Riggs returned to her home after a visit in American Fork with the George Chcrrington and Bill King families. She also visited with her five sisters and one brother in Salt Lake City and attended a wedding in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for her niece Mindy Anderson, Ander-son, daughter of the Jay Hatches of Rupert, Ida. A meeting of the Cornelius Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers met April 5 at Lucille Bridges' with 19 members present |
