Show EMTs Answer Four Calls This Week Garfield County Emergency Medical Technicians responded to four calls for assistance during the past week according to operations officer Bob McCullough. On July 26 at 1:15 p.m.,. the Mountain ambulance responded to a one-car rollover near Widtsoe Junction. The ambulance unit, formerly, called the Bryce Canyon business district ambulance, was renamed to distinguish it from the Bryce Valley ambulance. EMTs Mike Muir, Karleen Muir and Neal Foster responded to the scene of the accident to render assistance to three tourists from Belgium who were uninjured and did not require transport to the hospital. On July 27 at 7:40 p.m., Kathleen Trout was transported in the same ambulance to Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch from Rubys Inn. EMTs on duty were Kay Loranger, Carolyn Barker, Karleen Muir and Mike Muir. Also no July 27 at 8 p.m., Eva Dean Francisco was transported in the Bryce Valley ambulance from her home south of Tropic to Garfield Memorial Hospital. EMTs on duty were her daughter, Sandrea Francisco, Pat Lutes and Joe Thompson. On July 28 at 1 p.m, Irene Munson was transported in the Bryce Valley ambulance to Garfield Memorial Hospital from her home in Tropic. On duty were EMTs Carolyn Baker, Pat Lutes, Mike Barker and Guy Thompson. |
