Show Kco W. Rotimly ESCALANTE - Reo Walby Roundy, 55 died at his home in Escalante, Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1979. He was born Aug. 23, 1923, Escalante to Hyrum S. and Jane Lay Roundy. He resided in Escalante for the past 20 years. He was a heavy equipment operator. Survivors: brother, Evan, West Jordan and a sister, Mrs. Ma Ida Seegmiller, Ogden. .He was a member of the LDS Church. Funeral services were held Friday in the Escalante Ward Chapel with Bishop Lynn Gates, officiating. Evan Roundy gave the family prayer. The prelude and postlude music was played by Dawn Griffin. The services began with a song by the Singing Mothers. Don Coleman gave the invocation. Bishop Delane Griffin was a speaker, followed by Geraldine Liston and Deon Alvey. Bishop Lynn Gates was a speaker and the Singing Mothers sang. The benediction was by Hal Shurtz. The posting of the colors and military graveside services were handled by the American Legion, Escalante Post No. 114, Thurman Spencer, commanding. Pallbearers were Chester Lay, Lynn Liston, Herbert Allen, Mayo Roundy, Bill Griffin and Cecil Griffin. Interment was In the j Escalante Cemetery by Smith Mortuary, Panguitch where Grant Seegmiller, dedicated the grave. |
