Show Father-Son Program Draws 150 To Area CANNONVILLE -Nearly 150 were In attendance at Kodachrome State Park for the Escalante Utah Stake annual father and sons outing to commemorate the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood of the LDS Church. Following dinner arranged and prepared by Earl Jolley and Kay Mangum, group singing was led by Milton Rose. Thorley Johnson, longtime resident of Henrieville, related stories of his youth on a ranch and shared tales of the Indians who were a integral part of the history of the area. Ron Adamson and Lay Mangum spoke on the significance of the priesthood in their own lives fend related special spiritual experiences. LoRell Munson, president of the stake offered the closing prayer for the large gathering. Breakfast on Saturday morning was followed by softball, volleyball, and horseshoes. |
