Show Benrieville Melba D. Smith 67-8572 This is two weeks of news from Henrieville. Layton and Melba Smith went to Springville and visited Omer and Layton Smith, Gordon and Gwen Hartley They attended a reunion at Mapleton City Park for the family of the late Than and Jane Deuel They went to Price to visit Val and Sarepta Jennings. Also the families of Douglas and Howard Jennings. The drive through Huntington Canyon to Fairview was most beautiful. Families from here attended the family reunion of Roxie Chynoweth and the late Harvey Chynoweth held near Nephi on the 5th and 6th. There was better than 100 in attendance Visiting at the home of Oscar and Jean Willis are Darrel and Debbie Willis and three boys. They had their new baby son given a name and blessing in sacrament meeting. Also here for the occasion was Roy ahd Bonnie Willis. Kim Johnson and son Clayton and Carson spent ten days at Blanding with Jeff where he is employed Visiting at the home of Elmo and Iris Bushnell have been his brother Van and Allison Bushnell and daughter from Cedar City, George and Marilyn Bushnell and family from Bountiful and a cousin Mr. and Mrs. Dale Swallow and two daughters. A tree fell on Mike Barker at work. He had to spend one night in the hospital at Panguitch. Laura and Kay Clark spent a few days in Glen Canyon two weeks ago to do a little clean up work on their place. Herschel and Mada Partner had two granddaughters Trina and Anna Morton stay with them They took them back to their home in St. George on Friday and attended a partner reunion at Ieeds. Rick and Marilyn Beard spent the weekend with her parents Harry and Thora Partner They all attended the Partner reunion at Ieeds Ora and Rhoda Shaffer have had two granddaughters staying with them recently. Dave and Jerry Millett and children came to visit and take one home with them Donna and Duane Met calf came to visit and take their daughter back to Salt Lake City Champ Moore came to visit his mother Ruby Moore. He had finished teaching summer school at Weber College at Ogden and will spend time here until the fall quarter starts. I .avion and Melba Smith spent Wednesday and Saturday at the Panguitch Hospital with Mildred Deuel. Ed Smith visited Layton and Melba Smith Visiting the Smiths were Rett, Christine, Kenny, Michelle and Toni Shakespear. Jim Brinkerhoff from St. George visited with Verland and Lonna Rose. Speakers in sacrament meeting representing the stake high council were Randal Lyman, Delane Griffin and Guy Thompson |
