Show Boulder News LeNora lFevre Taylor, son of Arnold and Leah Button of Escalante and Barbara, daughter of Bill and Donna Peck of Boulder ware married July 28 at Las Vegas, Nev Paul and Cleta Allen and children of Hunter and Jewel Bowman of Flagstaff, Ariz, visited with parents, Doyle and Nina Moosman. Jewel's son Jimmy Ivie returned home with her. Madlyn Haws and children were accompanied by Golda Haws to northern Utah Golda stopped in Midvale to see daughter Beverly Ray Tucker She was present when granddaughter Susan Tucker received a special award in M.I. A. Elaine Roundy and daughters Brenda and Roberta were in Panguitch for dental care Max and Veda Behunin were in Provo where Max had minor surgery. They also accompanied Jerry Sawyer to Richfield. Richard and Donna Carlson and four children are at the Gregory ranch for a weeks vacation. Lynn Gregory and Lorene Meisenbach have been to Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Whitehead and Mr. and Mrs. grant Whitehead of Arizona are visiting at the Howard Church home. Mac and LeNora LeFevre, Burke Hafen, and LeFair Hall attended the Hall reunion held at Fish Lake August 12. Lorea Hall and Kathleen Hamm were hostess. All six of the Horace and Maud Halls families were there including Erna Hansen, LeNora LeFevre, Clella Lit-tlefield, Dr Heber H. Hall, Dixie Shakespear. and LeFair Hall Over fifty family members were present. The Boulder community was saddened when Bishop Joel Wilson's wife, Ira died of cancer on August 9 at the age of 66 at their home in Bountiful. The funeral was on August 13 They are former residents. Heber and Neta Poulson had Wesley Curtis, has daughter and grandsons visiting at their home this past week. The Poulsons were in Panguitch for dental care. Clyde Ormond came to see his mother Kay Ormond. She accompanied him to St. George for medical care. Her daughter Linda Guyman of Fredonia, Ariz, brought her back home Vard Coombs took son Zane to Salt Lake City to his doctor, Dr. Henry Mary Jane Coombs was in Cedar City one day. Blane Willis of Escalante and Bill Thompson of Idaho were the speakers in sacrament meeting Sidney Moosman and Wesley Roundy were in Richfield and stopped on their way home to see the rodeo and fireworks at Loa. The Mac LeFevrea and Burke Hafen also went to the rodeo at Loa. August so far has been hot, dry, and windy Alice Alvey, Vicky Coleman, LeNora LeFevre and Cathy (iesseg entered some of their paintings in the Art Show held at the Garfield County Fair. Dr Heber H. Hall and friend visited at the Mac LeFevre and I-eFair Hall homes. Maloy Dodds and family and some friends visited with Franklin and Jean Hansen. While here they enjoyed a mutton fry held at the community center at the barbecue pit Sam and Vivian Crosby went to the quarter horse races held at Veyo near Pine Valley. Sam's cousin and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Austin of Provo were guests at their home. LaDora Baugh was in Cedar City during the week to see her brother Wayne Goulding take part in one of the Shakespearean matinee programs. Reed LeFevre was in Cedar City on business. A bridal pantry shower was held for Lisa LeFevre Hostesses were Phyllis Stewart and Nancy Tucker. The Larry Adair family spent the weekend with the Arnold Adairs. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Smith of Tucson, Ariz, and their daughter Maria and husband were in Tropic for Minerva Duttons funeral. While 1 here they stayed with the I George Wilsons. The Vernal Shakespears were sad-I dened to hear of the death j of Ernie Henrie a foster Indian son that they had. His mother and two sisters came from Crown Point, N.M. to tell them of ! the accident that claimed his life. Ernie lived with the Shakespear family Tropic. and attended school in The Henry Jolley ! family was home over the i weekend. ? Nyle and Carma I Sawyer visited with the I Roy Shakespears. Jan Nielsen has had her mother visiting with her n for a few days. Their jf small daughter fell from b the back door and cut her head, requiring several stitches to take care of it. Eva Pollock was in Salt 8 Lake City during the X week attending a family (8 reunion. Her three I grandsons returned home 1 with her for a visit. Eldon Brinkerhofl |
