Show NATIONAL FOIIKST TIMBER FOR SALE NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER SALE, THE DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST, HOG RANCH SALE, located within TSSS, Rl and 2E; and T34S, Rl and 2E, Salt Lake Base arid Meridian. Scaled bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, Federal Building, P.O. Box 580, Cedar City, Utah 84720, at 1 :00 p.m. local time at the place of bid opening, on March 7, 1977, for an estimated 9,582 M board feet of ponderosa pine and other species of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The minimum acceptable bid per M board feet is ponderosa pine and other species $45.25. Additional deposits required for slash disposal is $3.26 per M board feet of all species. The bid rates will be subject to adjustment during the period of the sale as provided for by the quarterly adjustment provisions of the timber sale contract. In addition, there is within the sale area an un estimated volume of dead timber of all species which will be paid for at $1.00 per M board feet. Required bid guarantee is $16,800. Estimated maximum purchaser credit for specified roads is $60,616. This is a small-business set-aside sale. Bids from others will be considered if no valid bid is received from a small-business concern. All included timber shall be given domestic processing. Bidders are advised that violation of the domestic processing requirement constitutes breach of contact and may result in contract cancellation or in refusal to award timber sales to the violator, or debarment or suspension from bidding on future timber sales. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. Full information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and the submission of bids should be obtained from the District Ranger, Escalante Ranger District, Escalante, Utah; or the Forest Supervisor, Federal building, Cedar City, Utah.
