Show Garfield Roadshows Presented Tuesday Before a large crowd, the Tropic, Henrieville and Cannon ville APA age members presented their roadshows Tuesday evening. Three roadshows, one skit and two musical numbers were presented to the group. "Queen of Hearts" with 14 in the cast was the first roadshow under the direction of Mrs. Ella Adair. A musical number was given by Kenneth Goulding from the Henrieville Ward. "Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" was presented by 20 members of Cannonville Ward under the direction of VerJean Clark. This was followed by a musical number by the "Pollock Sisters" from Tropic. Henrieville's road show, utilizing the entire Henrieville APA with 50 people presented "Family Home Evening," under the direction of Lillian Shakespear. The last skit was presented by eight members of the Tropic Ward entitled, "Haminy Grits", also under the direction of Mrs. Adair. Clair Ramsey conducted the program. |
