Show Hatch Happenings Reva Lowder 735-4203 Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Turek spent several days in Washington with Bp. and Mrs. Wynn Turek and family. They all had Thanksgiving dinner at Ada NordeU's. Visiting during the holidays with the Leland Riggs were Bonnie, Janice, Elaine and Bethany Riggs, Cedar City and Robert Craw, Minersville. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bailey, Minersville were at the Karl Lowders. Friday Karl Lowder, Larry Bailey and Verene Sawyer went to Escalante on business then on to Minersville. Karl and Verene came on to Hatch, Mary Beth stayed until Saturday and then she took Laretta to Minersville with her. Karl and Reva Lowder stayed overnight in Cedar City with his sister Verda Slack. Verda and Nicole Sawyer attended a high school play in Kanab, as Vaelyn Sawyer was taking part. They stayed overnight with the Vay Sawyers. The Wiley Huntingtons spent the holiday in Granger with the Ben Neilsens. The Allen Huntingtons, Kanab visited them. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heaps visited their children in Cedar City for Thanksgiving. They took Ardell Riggs and Diann Porter over to be dinner guests with Bp. Wallace Heap and family. Cherene, Shera Lyn and Sharla Heap, Cedar City brought Bill, Robert and Donald Brown, Orem over to visit their grandmother, Ardell Riggs, then she returned to Cedar City with them. Thanksgiving visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans were Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Evans, Cedar City and Kendall Gifford, Springdale.Other visitors were Gary, Debbie and Julie Evans, Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Evans visited the John Mechams in Tropic. Brad Riggs from SUSC and Michelle Riggs USU were home with their folks the Ivor Riggs visiting. Speakers in meeting were Estella and Orlas Riggs. A special musical number, a piano and organ duet was by Hope Truman and Elaine T. Riggs. Visiting Effel Riggs were Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Orton, Jay, Thalia, Margo and Jens Mickelsen, Dr. Robert Birch and son Joshua all Nephl and over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Kay Alexander, Salt Lake City. Thanksgiving day visitors at the Nile Sawyers were the Lynn Savages, Antimony. At the Eric Barnhursts for dinner were the Daryl Barnhurst, Orem and Bp. and Mrs. Mervin Barnhurst and family from here. Holiday visitors at the Layton Barneys were the Craig Barneys, USU Logan, Doris Barney, Orem and the Don L. Ipsons, Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Elizabeth Barton, Tropic. The Wayne Stubbs, Parowan and the Gib Clarks, Kanab visited the Grant Daltons. They all met at the Bruce Daltons for Thanksgiving with their company the John Bailey, Milford, also Rhenard Sandee Stlr-nkorb. The Lamar Barneys went to Las vegas, Nev. to visit the Dennis Daltons. Their daughter Lorraine and family, the Bruce Marbles, Ariz, met them there, they all joined with the Ferrll Barneys in their beautiful new home for Thanksgiving. And visiting at the home of Orlas and Estella Riggs were the Duard Riggs and the, Leslie Footes, Salt Lake City and Ralph Riggs', Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Wilson were dinner guests at Coppermine, Ariz, with Mr. Manning Lane and family. They met the Wilford Lanes there then went on to Tuba City, Ariz, to visit until Saturday. The Kent Wilsons, Parowan and the Karl Wilsons, St. George visited here during the weekend. Kurt Sawyer, Cedar City and the Ken Roberts, Antimony joined with the Pat Dix and the Ronald Barabas', Panguitch and H the David Sawyers from here, they all met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H Oliver Huntington for a H turkey dinner. B Mr. and Mrs. Lynn H Evans visited the Deloy Evans family during the m holidays in Hurricane and E accompanied them to Las Vegas to visit relatives. I They all stopped in St. George as dinner guests with the Clark Evans family. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Barnhurst and Cristy, Cedar City visited I Maggie Barnhurst. I Mr. and Mrs. Bill I Duckett went to Bull I Head City, Ariz, to spend I Thanksgiving with the I Jim Ducketts. I Idonna, Rose Elaine I and Val Dean Deuel left I to spend the I Thanksgiving week In I Fontana, Calif, with the I LaVor Deuels. I |
