Show Couple Honored At Escalante Reception ESCALANTE The reception of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Appleby held in Escalante was held in Escalante. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Shurtz, Escalante. The groom, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Appleby, Oak Creek, Ariz. The brides five sisters were bridesmaids, Vicki, Valerie, Brenda, Jaleen and Stephanie Shurtz and friends, Doneen Uston, pa trice Griffin and Janice Haycock. Best man was Eric Daniels. Flower girls were Tamera and Kristina Nelson, and Angela Huntington; Gift bearers were Ryan, and Matthew Nelson, Barry and Gary Huntington and Kerry Shurtz. Ushers were Kay and Kenneth Shurtz. A program consisted of a songs by Dean Shurtz, Marlene Haws, Deon Alvey, and Geraldine Liston, Shurtz sisters, Kay Shurtz and Kim Nelson, and Teresa Porter. The program was emcee'd by Stan Huntington. This was followed by a dance. A wedding dinner was held at 12 noon at Ruby's Inn for 38 guests of the family by the grooms parents. The couple left for a honeymoon at Las Vegas after which they plan to make their home In Cedar City. They wish to thank everyone who helped make their wedding such a success. |
