Show Five Garfield Students On SUSC Honor Roll Five Garfield County students were among those named to the Southern Utah State College winter quarter honor roll for their outstanding academic achievement winter quarter. "In order for a student to be named to the honor roll, he or she must be enrolled full-time, taking 15 or more credit hours, and achieve a 3.60 to 4.00 grade point average for the quarter's work," Ward S. Robb, SUSC registrar, said. A 4.00 CPA is a straight "A" average; a 3.60 GPA is approximately an "A-" average. Garfield County students attaining this honor roll status followed their field of study is as follows: ESCALANTE-Mark G. Griffin, pre-dental. HENRIEVILLE James Smith, physical education. PANGUITCH Marilyn Marshall, music. TROPIC Gary C. Bybee, business education and Janet K. Ott, elementary education. |
