Show Incumbent Conrmissioners Defeated In Garfield County Primary Vote Both Republican incumbent Garfield County commlssloneri were defeated by challengers in their bid for re-election, during Tuesday's Primary In what appeared to be major upsets in the Garfield election. Commissioner Dale Marsh, Escalante, was defeated by II. Dell LeFevre, Boulder, in a 765-566 contest, while Com-missioner James Yardley, Panguitch, was defeated by Jay Proctor, Panguitch 975-378. In the two Garfield County School Board elections, Opal H. Miller drew 72 votes and Ted L. Perkins had 52 to win spots on the November ballot from Precinct No. 2, while Ivan B. Willis received 124 and Theron 0. Mitchell had 114 to win spots from Precinct No. 3. Other candidates in Precinct 2 were Ann Marie liston, 43; Kendall W. Brinkerhoff , 37 and Doyle II. Christensen, 37. The precinct is the east side of Panguitch. David F. Adams was the other candidate in Precinct Three, receiving 42 votes. The precinct covers Escalante.
